The incidents happened over Thursday night, Sept. 21, and Friday morning, Sept. 22 at four gas stations in Bedford, according to Bedford Police Det. Matt Whalen.

The four gas stations in Bedford Hills and Katonah that were hit include:

  • Bedford Shell, located at 848 South Bedford Rd.;
  • Village Service Center, located at 193 Pound Ridge Rd.;
  • Katonah Mobil, located at 80 Bedford Rd.;
  • Katonah Exxon, located at 245 Katonah Ave.

The same crew appears to have been involved in all four burglaries, according to Bedford Lt. Jeff Gulick.

The burglars allegedly killed the power at two of the businesses before entering. Authorities are still working to piece together exactly what was stolen from the gas station, but it is now known that an ATM machine was removed from one of them, Whalen said.

One of the suspects and a vehicle used in the burglaries, a sedan, were captured on surveillance video in Katonah at around 5:45 a.m. on Friday.

Bedford Police are now continuing their investigation into the burglaries.
